15 years ago the people of Shadow Mountain Technologies (SMT) discovered a compound that contained both powerful natural cleaning agents and the toughest natural surface protectants known to mankind.

The individual ingredients in this secret formula have been in existence for over 100 years... but this is the first time they have been compounded to clean and protect golf clubs.

The ingredients are as follows:

1. In order for pure carnauba wax to be able to bond, the surface must be completely cleaned, including the pores.
The ingredients in our products deep clean the pores. Once bonded the surface will no longer trap any debris! Debris then can only sit on the carnauba, and not surface the item. This debris can easily be removed with only water! No soaps. No detergents. No chemicals. No alcohols. No ammonia. No nothing. Just plain water. Plus Products are environmentally safe and save you lots of money because you no longer have to buy all those cleaning products!

2. Many protective waxes include carnauba. This is good. But, what they do not tell you is that carnauba only works if it can bond to a super clean surface. Otherwise it just floats around with other chemicals compounds in the wax as they dry. How is it then possible for the carnauba to bond to a clean surface if that surface is covered with a polymer, acrylic, silicone or Teflon? It is NOT possible.

THE KEY: Once a surface is treated with a Plus Product it can be cleaned, for months and months, with just plain water and a clean buffing cloth.

This is truly amazing to see.


SMT found that these cleaning agents would not only gently and thoroughly clean any smooth surface and leave it totally undamaged but allowed the protective coating of Carnauba to bond with the surface.

To test this factor a sample was sent to a metallurgist in Portland, Oregon.
After a thorough evaluation he stated "During field testing, I have found that it does indeed provide for an improved measure of protection from oxidation and corrosion. Specifically the wax compound seems to penetrate the minute pores and voids of the parent metal, shielding the base metal from the atmosphere".

SMT also tested the compound on other surfaces and found that it to works on glass, tinted glass, clear coat, chrome, brass, cooper, nickel, titanium, graphite, painted and numerous other smooth surfaces.

Because of these factors and all the field-testing performed by SMT over the past 15 years, they called the compound CLUB SAVER Plus™ and applied this newfound old-fashioned technology to a golf club with amazing results.

They found this compound could completely clean and able to protect the myriad of different metals used in modern day golf clubs from all the elements encountered on the golf course.

Not satisfied with their own testing, Shadow Mountain Technologies brought their discovery to a respected PGA Club professional, Guy Puttefoot, at the scenic Skamania Lodge Golf Course; in the Columbia River Gorge.

Guy comparison tested the compound on 2 sets of their rental clubs for 60 days. At the end of the test period Guy requested the compound be applied to the rest of the rental clubs noting that the daily maintenance time on the 2 treated sets had been reduced by as much as 75%.

SMT has also discovered perhaps the most important aspect of cleaning and protecting a golf club with CLUB SAVER Plus™. During a round of golf the club is much easier to clean after each shot. This gives a more consistent performance from the golf club with each hit.
